These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RecapBoard's website, app, and services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the Services on behalf of a team or organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

The service

RecapBoard provides tools for running team retrospectives — collecting feedback, voting, capturing follow-ups, and tracking team sentiment over time. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

Your account

Provide accurate information when you register and keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you will not:

• Break the law or violate the rights of others, including intellectual-property and privacy rights.
• Upload malicious code, disrupt the Services, or probe our systems without permission.
• Access the Services through unauthorized means, or resell them without our consent.
• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you and your team create in RecapBoard. You grant us the permission needed to host, process, and display that content so we can operate the Services for you.

You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to share it within your boards.

Our intellectual property

The Services — including the software, design, and the RecapBoard name and branding — belong to us and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our branding without our prior written consent.

Pricing

RecapBoard is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll publish the pricing and billing terms, and any paid features will be clearly identified before you're charged.

Termination

You can stop using the Services and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the Services in a way that could harm others or us.

When your access ends, your right to use the Services stops, and we may delete your content as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecapBoard will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to cover the claims, losses, and reasonable costs that arise from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
